Whats been happening?
First off i've finally moved, been in the new place a week, I have no carpets and no chest of draws, stuff is in bags and just put where ever it can go, my computer is setup on a decorators pasting table, despite all that it is great to be in a place of my own and it is deffinately all good.
Haven't played much poker recently with all the moving and stuff but have dabbled with not much success, i'm going to start grinding hard in the next few days (gotta pay for carpets and stuff lol) so hopefully some decent results will come.

Monday Update
It's Monday 1st March 2010 and i'm confident this is going to be a great month, I finished the UK & Ireland League division 2 in 49th place, it pays me $7.50, this was largely due to the fact I won the tournament on the Friday 26th and that win was good for 20 points that shot me into the top 100. I'm confident I can place higher this month.
Got an e-mail from rakebackpro's saying I now have RB on Full Tilt Poker, also got a e-mail with a bonus so it looks like I will be playing alittle on FTP from now on.
Situation is about the same on BlueSQ and AP althou i'm gonna concentrate most of my play in sit'n'go's during the week and then some tournaments on Sundays (saturdays are day off from poker).
Bankroll :
Pokerstars = $9.37 ($7.50 to be added by PS)
BlueSQ = £0.79 (depositing $24 tomorrow, 100 buy-ins for the 20c+4c 9 mans)
Absolute Poker = $9.50 (lost some playing BJ, DOH!)
Betfair = £22.50 (deposited £12.50 from my paypal account)
Thats it for now.

Pokerstars + others
So I got an email from pokerstars with an exclusive invite blog thingy, if I do the required tasks I can geta $22 SCOOP ticket, this would be great to have and go along side my $33 SCOOP ticket that I already have, so here it is pokerstars the phrase you wanted included in my blog - 'which is why playing poker is clearly a game of skill' - that's all done then :)
I've played acouple $1 buy-in torneys on stars but never really got anything going and donked out in quick time, i've also kept playing the UK & Ireland Division 2 League but still havent made it onto the top 100 with only 4 days left so more donkish behavour then. I've played the $2000 & £250 freerolls a few times but have only cashed for a few pennys so nothing exciting there. Overall I really need to put more effort in if I want to make any money at this game.
'which is why playing poker is clearly a game of skill' - there you go again pokerstars, just incase you missed the first one.
On other sites I haven't really done much either, Blue SQ still sits at £0.79 but I am going to deposit to play some sit'n'go's on either monday or tuesday. Played blackjack on AP to make some quick extra cash but ended up losing it all (no surprise there then), deposited $15 and thats the last time I play blackjack (yer right) so my AP account has $15.71 in it and 10 step 2 tickets and 1 step 3 ticket.
Away from poker ive had some great news, I got the flat I went to view, I should be moving in a couple of weeks and i'm well happy, this could be the start of something really good for me this year.
More to come on monday.

Monday Update...
So here is my first monday update and upcomming plans.
Pokerstars : I have a scoop $33 ticket and around $12 in cash, not really got a plan for what to play or what to do so just gonna wing it.
Blue SQ : got £0.79 from playing the 3-2-1 sit'n'go's, gonna play these until next monday (1st march) then im gonna deposit $24 and grind the 20c+4c sit'n'go's. Basically gonna move up when I have a hundred buy-ins but once I get past 50 buy-ins for the next level will mix in a couple just to aclimatise myself.
Absolute : got just over $9 plus 1 step 1 ticket, 9 step 2 tickets and 1 step 3 tickets. Basically just gonna play the steps sit'n'go's and see where it gets me.
Party : about $14, dunno what im gonna do with this, it was free so who knows.

Same old story, same old outcome
Played a fair bit recently but yesterday went out in the daytime, had a few beers and come home and decimated my bankroll yet again, nuff said.
Won acouple more step tickets on AP, will do a total update every monday from now on. Also playing the free sng's on blue square to try and create something from nothing and again will update complete bankroll situation on mondays.
Away from poker one of my goals is to move home, going to look at a studio flat on the 24th and really hoping its gonna be nice as im desperate to move.

Small Steps, Big Rewards (hopefully)
So its a week into Feburary and things aint been great, I have played a fair bit of poker but unfortunately I seem to turn into a donk when it matters most.
I'm going to concentrate most of my play on the steps sit'n'go's on Absolute Poker, I currently have 1 step 1 ticket, 5 step 2 tickets and 1 step 3 ticket, I donked of my roll whilst drunk so i'm going to make a small deposit and play 100 step 1 games with a few tourneys thrown in at weekends and re-evalute in acouple weeks. I want to go as far as possible in the steps and see if I can win a live seat at the WSOP 2010.
I al also playing in the UK & Ireland poker leagues on Pokerstars, started feb 1st but currently don't sit in the top 100. Pokerstars awards cash prizes for the top 100 every month, even in the play money league so it could be a good way to boost my BR on there. I also played in the Bloggers Championship and managed to win myself a $33 SCOOP ticket so i'm looking forward to playing that in may.
Im still playing on Betfair but donked off my roll, I got £6 in rakeback and currently have got it upto £30 but it is a grind.
The life of a low stakes player isn't exactly glamourous and im so far away from my target of 10k by the year end, still onwards and upwards :)
