Well I've play alittle recently with nothing worth writing about, I did get a 3rd in a torney on will hill last night which was nice as I haven't played there much and it was always a favorite of mine as it was one of the first sites i played when starting with online poker (the other being BlueSQ).
I've taken a small percentage of someone playing in a FTOPS event so we will se how that works out, hopefully he will cash and send a few bucks my way. GL Fildy!
I'm gonna concentrate on earning p5 ranking point's, i have a few but need to buckle down if i'm gonna reach my goal of being the highest ranked player in my Town/Area. Gonna be playing the 20k Gtd $5 rebuy's on PokerRoom and some torneys on Stars.
Personally life is pretty much the same, an ex girlfriend of mine from acouple years ago contacted me via Facebook, we had a really bad break-up so was very surprised to hear from her, we exchanged messages a few times and she even asked me to come around her flat for a drink and something extra. She was a good girl but a complete nutter so I will never be going back down that path. lol.

Running OK!
Last couple of days i've been running ok, I played some cash tables on FTP and managed to triple my original stake, then I played a 45 man sng and after a brutal hand about 5 mins into the game which left me with only 210 chips I managed to fight my way back and end up finishing second.
I played a torney on stars with over 3000 players, I shouldn't really have played in it but I didn't manage to un-reg in time and I didn't want to waste money so I played. I ended up finishing 41st which is my best result in a torney with that many players, wasn't alot of money but I was really happy with the way I played.
I'm feeling confident in my game at the moment so bring it on!

p.s. more ranking points weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

Ranking Points
I've finally managed to cash (very small) in a larger field tornament (1300+ players) on Pokerstars, this has meant that I got some ranking points on PocketFives. I set myself a goal for 2008 which was to become the highest ranked player in my home town and surrounding area according to p5's tornament rankings so i'm finally on my way.
I've had some good micro limit cash games lately on both Pokerstars and Ladbrokes and overall my bankroll in on the up and up.

If I only had a brain...
Well I havent posted for awhile and im going to make sure that I post more regularly.
I havent played much poker at all recently except a few sit'n go's which havent gone well, yesterday was a bank holiday so I decided to go up my local club and have a couple beers.
I ended up meeting my dad in there and getting pissed which leads me to the title of this post because after my dad left I decided it would be a good idea to get the laptop out and play some poker, you know where this is going, I loaded up PokerStars and hit the cash tables, within 20mins I busted my bankroll and am now left with just over $1 in my account, good game me.
I have brought Sit'n Go Strategy by Collin Moshman (he also coaches on stoxpoker) so i'm gonna read that this week and hope that it gives me some enthusiasm to play sng's and steer clean of the bloody cash tables.

BlueSQ river shite...
Over the last few days i've been playing alot of MTT's, there was this tornament on BlueSQ last night called Once in a Blue Moon, I read about it a few days ago and thought it would be good value to play so I deposited on BlueSQ (dunno why as I run soooooooooo bad on there) and registered for the torney.
In the last few days I played a few freerolls on BSQ and had no success, I always lose on the river card, it's so standard for me now on there. Yesterday morning I played a irish masters qualifier and got to the final table, 5 places got a seat, after acouple of lucky chand I got down to final six players, I had K10 off and was in sb with only utg+1 the only caller so I 3 bet raise, bb folds and the utg+1 calls, flop comes 4 K J so I shove all-in and the guy calls, his cards were J6 off, turn comes 8 and then the bloody river a 6 so I bust out on the bubble.
That put me on tilt and throu the whole day the river killed me, then I get to the Once in a blue moon torney with 591 players and $3000 added to prize pool, less than 15 minutes in I bust out holding AK against 44, two over cards and not one hit the community cards, bloody BlueSQ, I wont be playing on there again.

Weekend VOODOO!
I never seem to be able to play good poker at the weekends, it's always been a bad time for me and I can't put my finger on why. It might be that more players are on during the weekend so I get sucked out on more, or it could be that coz it's the weekend I might have had one too many stella's and my judgement is impaired, I dunno what it is but weekends suck for me at poker.
I got 64th out of 160 players in the NPP weekly 5k torney for $0 in money. I also had a shocking run on Blue SQ in sng's and didn't manage a money place in any of them. Lost on UB aswell so the whole weekend was a blowout.

Goodtimes at VC Poker
As the title says its Goodtimes at VC Poker, I have played on a couple different ipoker/playtech sites and never done anything on them but for some strange reason i'm going well on VC Poker (touch wood). I basically have increased my initial deposit to 4 times the size in the month of January and the first few days of Feb so it's going to plan.
I have also had some little cash increases on Ladbrokes which has always seemed to be a good site for me so that is just is normal.
I've decided to cashout from Pacific Poker, I just don't seem to be getting to grips with it, I don't know if it's the software or the layout or even the players but I have the feeling that if I continue to play on there I will continue to lose so i'm cutting my loses and running.
