Here is just a quick update on my situation, through feb I didn't really play much, didn't seem to have any motivation or willing to play but now I have the fire in the belly back and am gonna spend alot of time at the tables.
Gonna keep a more updated blog aswell so hopefully I will get some decent results to write about.

The GRIND begins
Well it's now 2009, I didn't have a good 2008 in poker as I basically lost loads of money through some stupid plays and being a little drunk whilst playing, it's not a good idea to mix poker and alcohol so its gonna change from now on.
Since my bankroll has been devestated I will have to go back to square one, the life of a micro-grinder here I come. For the next few months I will be playing the smallest games on Pokerstars and Betfair, this will be to build up my BR again and hopefully by the start of april I should be able to move up some levels but we will see what happens.
I will be playing sng's and mtt's, gotta stay away from the cash tables as I suck ass on those.

Not Much......
There hasn't been much to write about currently, i've not had any good cashes in any tornaments i've played and I lost money on the cash tables so its looking bleak, still it's poker so it could all change very quickly.
Sad News : William Hill is moving from cryptologic network which is going to cease operations and become a member of boss network, WillHill will move to the ipoker network which as i've already stated i'm now dubiase about so no more play on WillHill for me then. SunPoker is also going onto ipoker from cryptologic so its even worse news, sorry.
Going to see my daughter to day so it aint all bad.

Is online poker rigged?
I've read loads of posts on major forums saying how online poker is rigged, most have just been badbeats and the players are basically venting their frustrations. Online poker has had a rough time this last year or so, with the Absolute Poker and Ultimate Bet superuser scandals and the use of BOTS on Full Tillt it is very clean that online poker can be rigged or people can cheat.
The reason I bring this up is that I have my suspicions of something thats not completely legitimate on the ipoker network, the other day I was playing a points buy-in tornament on the VC Poker skin, now this is gonna just sound like a badbeat but from the start of the game it felt like the cards were being dealt against me, for instance I would be in the big blind with KQ off, two players limp in and we see the flop, it would be something like A 10 4 rainbow, yeah sure I could chase the draw but I just got this feeling it would never hit. This situation came up about 3 or 4 times in the first 30min and it seemed it was destined to make me go broke, well i resisted the urge to chase the draws and then boom I get dealt AA, someone with half the size of my stack shoves pre-flop everyone else fold so I call, he shows something like 22 and obv hits a 2 so he takes half my chips, then 1 hand later I get dealt KK, someone shoves who just about has me covered, everyone else folds and I call as im now short stacked, yet again they hit some ridiculous card to send me out.
This sort of thing has happened loads to me on both of the ipoker skins I use (not at the same time so no multi-accounting), this has made me question the network and withdraw all of the funds I had on there, it is a real shame as ipoker was one of the first networks i started on.
Im not saying it is rigged, I could be just having some god awful bad luck but I think i'll take a break from ipoker and see how I feel in the new year.
On a better note, i'm playing lots more on PokerStars and loving every minute of it so it aint all bad.

Big Mistake!!!
First off gotta say Congrats to my best mate Paul, he and his loverly girlfriend Bridget have had a baby girl called Scarlett on tuesday morning.
So to celebrate the birth we did exactly what we should have, we went and got pissed, we started off at the sea anglers club but after acouple hours we went to the Imperial pub,.
this is where the mistake happens, the Imperial run the Hastings Poker League (http://www.localpokerleagues.co.uk) and have a nice table, I shout my mouth off about how good at poker I am and boom before I know it alittle £5 game starts with 5 runners, my mate Paul goes out first (he's not good at all) then I bust a guy called Wayne to leave us 3 handed and me chip leader. Well what happens next just sucked, I'm first to act so I 3 bet, get called by Scottie and Amanda (she runs the pub), flop is J 6 2 rainbow, I have QK of clubs and I shove, Scottie folds and Amanda calls, she shows 10 6 ofsuit (wtf), well I dont improve my hand so I get crippled, I went out in third after another shove. I made myself look like a right mug but in my defense I was proper shit faced but I still cant see how Amanda calls with pair of sixes on the flop when I represent a big hand and it was for her torney life.
Had a cold since then so no action on virtual tables.
My daughters 10th birthday is sunday (Nov 2nd) but I wont see her so I gave her the presents yesterday (weds), she was chuffed and its always nice to spend time with her.
That is all for now.
